Avid Angler Outfitters is a small owner operator company. We believe in high quality experiences. Guiding to us is about more than just catching fish. It's about creating unforgettable memories on the water that last a lifetime. We exist because we love what we do.

Meet the guide

Brennan Baker is a west coast BC born and raised fly fishing fanatic. He grew up off the grid on a large west coast lake. This was his natural playground. His love for fishing developed at a very young age, catching his first Cutthroat Trout off his families dock. Evolution took its course and he started fly fishing. He's had the privilege of guiding many beautiful waters In British Columbia, Alberta, and even Chilean Patagonia. He guides and fishes every month of the year. Spending late summer and early fall on the Babine River and the remainder on Vancouver Island. He talks the talk and walks the walk. If he's not guiding you'll find him on the river either rowing his partner Amanda, friends, or simply fishing himself. This really is a way of life for him and he's always excited at the opportunity to share it with others!
